Mixed media/proprietary technique on canvas in a floating wooden frame
30 x 40 cm
Arco explores the expressive power of a single architectural gesture. The arch-like form feels simultaneously ancient and contemporary, solid yet softened by its gently undulating edges. Suggesting a gateway, a passage, or a place of transition, it invites reflection on connection and movement between spaces. Within the visual language of Lingua Nova, Arco stands as a symbol of openness, continuity, and quiet strength.
A minimalist series built around simplified symbols and organic forms. Created using a proprietary technique, the black surfaces develop an irregular texture reminiscent of elephant skin, weathered stone, or aged material, with pigment settling unevenly across the canvas. The rich blacks contrast with soft cream forms and backgrounds, creating a striking visual dialogue between light and shadow. Unified by texture, palette, and form, the series reads as a collection of symbols from an unknown visual language.
